It starts near Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Britain, visits Britain’s most westerly mainland railway station, Arisaig, then passes close by the deepest freshwater loch in Britain, Loch Morar. The Jacobite then passes the River Morar, the shortest river in Britain and finally arrives next to the deepest seawater loch in Europe – Loch Nevis. A great way to spend the day!
